Ashley Anderson is an African American & Mexican-American actress based in Chicago and DFW. As the daughter to a minister and a musician, Ashley often found inspiration for her craft through music. Recently, Ashley graduated from the The Theatre School conservatory at DePaul University with her MFA in Acting. She received her B.A. in Theatre from Texas Christian University with a minor in Arts Leadership & Entrepreneurship.

Ashley works toward bridging the gap between underrepresented communities and theatre spaces. Currently she strides toward this goal as a creative artist in residence at a children's hospital & a mentor for high school students. She is also an Epilepsy Awareness Ambassador with the Epilepsy Foundation of America. 

Ashley sees herself in the worlds of Monkeypaw Productions & A24, and shows like Ready Set Love and Bridgerton. She would love to do indie films and stories that have a lot of heart to them, but she also has a love for campy romantic comedies and horror/thriller. Because Ashley enjoys animation, she would love to voiceover for a Ghibli movie, an anime, or children's movies so that her nieces and nephews can support her while she's out of state. She is passionate about language learning as she continues her Spanish & Korean practices. She makes statements with her avant-garde fashion & streetwear. Hopefully you will see her on the cover of Vogue one day. Lastly, she enjoys nurturing old hobbies like playing guitar, tennis, baking, and going to dance classes.
